Jesse Cline - Country Music Singer/Songwriter

I was born in Cincinnati, OH, but was raised from age 8 in Mattawan, Michigan. I always loved to sing, but never thought much of it until almost the end of high school. I lived a normal life, being a multi-sport athlete throughout school and of course being a student. The majority of our extended family are farmers in Wisconsin, so during the summers my younger brother and I would spend some time helping out how we could around the cattle farms and the elk farm. I started to develop an interest in learning guitar from a five dollar garage sale guitar that my mom brought home one day. Frustration in learning to read music wore down my interest over time until I started learning new methods years later using chords rather than notes. I began learning cover songs and singing along with them my senior year of high school, which was a great way for me to relax and clear my mind from whatever was happening in real life. I soon began to realize how people enjoyed hearing it around campfires and family gatherings, and it made me want to learn more and more. After high school I went to Western Michigan University to study Manufacturing Engineering Technology. I still didn't treat my music as more than a relaxing hobby until I won a talent show my Freshman year of college that my friends made me join (after the sign up deadline...). After that I started playing weekly open mic nights, and writing songs. I spent most of my free time at a lake house that my parents own just an hour north of where we lived, that brought me unlimited amounts of inspiration for my music and many stories. Today I am living at the lake house, writing songs, playing gigs, and doing everything that I can to share my music with the world!
